We Keep It Simple

Everything you need and nothing you don’t. So we currently offer one brand, rechargeable models only, pairs only, and no super-power devices. Sort of like Henry Ford said, “You can have any color you want, as long as it’s black.” Although we do offer multiple colors, multiple models, and we make exceptions.

ONE BRAND: We’ve been working with the Sonic hearing aid brand for nearly 25 years. They were one of the first to create fully digital hearing aids back in ‘98, and they’re still an innovation leader — they’re one of the first to offer hearing aids with Bluetooth direct streaming to both Android and iPhone (others still only offer iPhone direct streaming). And more importantly, Sonic doesn’t spend money on marketing to you. So although you may not hear about them as much as others, they offer superior value.

RECHARGEABLE ONLY: Most people don’t want to mess with changing those tiny batteries every week, and the sealed nature of rechargeable form factors often means they can hold up better to rough weather and sweat. For increased mobility, you can get a mobile charger pack to plug the charger into. But if you really want non-rechargeable hearing aids, contact us and we can hook you up.

PAIRS ONLY: Finally, our pricing is per PAIR. We don’t sell individual hearing aids. Just like glasses, the vast majority of people with hearing loss require a pair, and we feel it’s a little slimy to individually price hearing aids. Of course there are exceptions: some people do only require a single-sided solution, so if that’s you, contact us and we’ll help you do a one-off. In the past, people only wanted one hearing aid because those older models were so damn noisy. So we’d get people who’d say, “I’ll try one, and if that works, I’ll come get the other.” The truth is, usually, just one won’t work. Especially these days, when digital hearing solutions rely on binaural balance and wireless ear-to-ear communication to help increase speech clarity in noisy situations. However, we know that single-sided loss can happen with certain health conditions, head trauma, strokes, or other situations. So if you know you have a single-sided loss, let us know, we’ll take care of you.

NO SUPER-POWERS: We don’t sell super-power hearing aids. Those with profound hearing loss should go directly to their local hearing healthcare provider, and don’t buy through the internet. No exceptions.
